Conventional mechanical splices demand bar-end threading, specialised tooling, torque checks or welding — adding labour, cost and time to every connection on the cage.
The HD OneTouch Mechanical Rebar Coupler is a proprietary splice system designed to connect reinforcing bars without threading, welding or rotation of the bar during installation. Its internal spring-loaded serrated jaws engage the bar on insertion, creating a positive mechanical connection — confirmed by an audible click.
